Summer 2024

Problems/Annoyances (Consult YouTube, laugh, move forward, and have fun)- Check engine twice this summer, staying cool when coming home through Utah, Nevada, and California.  Broke the toilet and had to get e new one in Philadelphia.  Fog at top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park.  Humidity was bad in some locations.  Some road noise at a few overnight campsites.  Late in the trip our generator would turn off while we were running it.  No Mexican food.

Loving/Nice Surprises (What we have enjoyed and are proud of so far)- We have fixed "some" more motor home issues, we have been resilient, everyone is extremely nice and friendly, beautiful camping locations, Max has traveled well again, we love our comfy king-size bed, our meals in the rig are fantastic, checking off many bucket list items, and Starlink gave us all the TV entertainment and sports we could ever want.  Dodged a bunch of bad thunderstorms and tornados.  Witnessed Corey's graduation.  Ran into family and friends along the way.  Canada scenery and people are the best!  This was our longest and furthest trip.  We had a great time!

Nevada to Utah via Interstate 80.  Green River KOA.  Starlink Activated!

Day 3 - Denver, Colorado

Cross the Rocky Mountains.  Colorado Rockies Game and a Fantastic City RV Park.

Day 4 - Wakeeney, Kansas

Harvest Host- Atlas Missile Silo Tour and Camping

Day 5 - Kansas City, Missouri

Eisenhower Presidential Museum on 50th D-Day Anniversary.   Alpaca Farm With Our Favorite Alpaca Will!

Day 6 - St. Louis, Missouri

The Arch!  DraftKings RV Park.

Days 7 & 8 - Cave City, Kentucky

Caves, Corvettes, and Kangaroos.  Cave City KOA.

Day 9 - Louisville, Kentucky

Louisville Slugger Museum and Lincoln Birthplace.  Louisville North Campground.

Day 10 - Flatwoods, West Virginia

Long Travel Day.  Harvest Host Angelo's Pizza Parking Lot.

Days 11-13 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Corey Graduation.  East Philli KOA.

Days 14 & 15 - Avon by the Sea, New Jersey

Kaiser Beach House.  Moochdocking in backyard.

Days 16-18 - Cooperstown, New York

Baseball Hall of Fame.  Cooperstown KOA.

Days 19-21 - Cranberry Lake, New York

Camping on Cranberry Lake and Joining the Campground Community.  All Hail Mayor Bill!

Days 22-24 - Mt. Washington, New Hampshire

Great Hikes and Tornado Warning!  Mt. Washington KOA.

Day 25- Houlton, Maine

Travel Day.  Cross Border Tomorrow.  Houlton KOA.

Days 26-30 - Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Charlottetown City, Baker Joe, Donair, Canada Day, Beaches, and Lighthouses.  Holiday Haven Campground.

Days 31-33 - Sydney, Nova Scotia

Cape Britton Visit.  Beaches, Music, and Views.  North Sydney KOA.

Days 34-39 - Halifax, Nova Scotia

Bay of Fundy, Halifax City, Peggy's Cove, and Burnt Coat Head Park.  Stayed at West Halifax KOA.

Days 40 & 41 - Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

Lunenburg Town and Long Beach.  Lundberg City RV Park.

Day 42 - Sussex, New Brunswick

Long Drive to the US Border.  One Night at Sussex KOA.

Days 26-30 - Acadia National Park, Maine

Acadia National Park Coastline, Jordon Pond Hike, Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, and Lumberjack Show.  Hadley's Point Campground.

Days 46-48 - Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Plymouth, Cape Cod, and Fogel Brothers.

Days 49 & 50 - Jersey City, New Jersey

Manhattan, 911Memorial, and Statue of Liberty.  Liberty RV Park.

Days 51 & 54 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Pack up Corey and Danielle and head west.  Philadelphia KOA.

Day 55 - Ruff Dale, Pennsylvania

1st travel day west, operation return Corey.  Fight 93 Memorial.  Fox Den Acres Campground.

Days 56 & 57 - Indianapolis, Indiana

Indianapolis Speedway.  Danielle Flies Home.  Lake Haven Retreat.

Day 58 - Galesburg, Illinois

Danielle is home and we are on the road again.  Galesburg KOA.

Day 59 - Omaha, Nebraska

I-80 Truck Stop.  Omaha KOA.

Day 60 - Ogallala, Nebraska

Most dangerous town!  Ogallala KOA.

Day 61 - Rawlings, Wyoming

Still working our way West.    Cross the Rockies at Sherman Summit.  Rawlings KOA.

Day 62 - Winnemucca, Nevada

Turning South Now.  New Frontier RV Park.

Day 63 - Coleville, California

Last Night on the Road!  Coleville KOA.
